Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

RYLA is an immersive six-day residential program for young leaders aged between 18 and 28. The thought provoking plenaries, discussion moderators, and professional facilitators from many disciplines, the program is packed with in-classroom theory and outdoor practical activities. Discussions and experiential sessions focus on what leadership is, qualities of leadership, team-building activities, time and stress management.

This program demonstrates Rotary’s commitment to developing leaders – today’s Rylarians are tomorrow’s leaders. Participants are selected for their demonstrated leadership potential in scholastic, athletic and civic activities. The Rotary Club of Frankston fully funds our nominees to this program, typically held in January each year.
